Invent A Book is a Mom-founded, -owned and -operated company
run by good friends and fellow moms Rebecca Hampton and Heather Kerzetski.
An entrepreneur and the "business" mind behind Invent A Book, Rebecca's very nature is to keep her eyes open to new opportunities that will provide her with career growth and personal enrichment. Rebecca founded Invent A Book in 2006 when her first daughter showed a passion for coloring and, voila!, Rebecca saw opportunity. Rebecca was inspired to give her daughter something unique beyond a normal coloring book that would not only encourage creativity but also help to foster a positive sense of self. When Rebecca's daughter saw herself as the star of the first Invent A Book, she was thrilled - and that just reaffirmed to Rebecca that she was sitting on top of an awesome idea. Rebecca holds a BS in Political Science, is savvy and always fashionable and, most importantly, is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters and wife to TJ.
Heather is the "creative" mind, whose lifetime obsession with color and all things creative have kept art at the forefront of her doings. Heather first picked up a crayon at the age of one and hasn't let go of it since (kind of makes it hard to do other things, but she manages). Heather likes to quote Picasso and say that "art washes from the soul the dust of every day life". (No, she's not a hippie...) With this quote, that's how Heather ended up here, an artist waiting for an outlet other than her home and friends. Heather holds a BS in Accounting, is constantly working on her sarcasm, and, most importantly, is mom to a pretty little girl, and a new baby boy, and is wife to Brian.
Rebecca and Heather thoroughly enjoy working together, as friends, moms, and business partners. They are
excited about the new opportunities that Invent A Book has provided them and are grateful to their husbands and children for continuing to provide support and encouragement. Rebecca and Heather would also like to thank all of their customers who are such a huge inspiration. They are very proud of being able to create keepsakes for children everywhere and hope that Invent A Book becomes a part of your family tradition, as it has for theirs and their customers!
